Fall Highlights from Above All - Ohio...

Well, this is embarrassing  --   We were so busy this summer and fall (Note: That's not a complaint!), we never had a chance to remind you to get your beautiful fall aerials. Looking back at all the miles we flew and the thousands and thousands of images we captured, however, it appears we didn't need to remind you! Summer Highlights from Above All - Ohio...

Infrared wildlife surveys  --   Deer and other wildlife are hiding under the leaves of the summer foliage now, but don't worry - fall will arrive in due time and we'll be able to spot them! We are now scheduling for aerial infrared wildlife surveys for the fall/winter 2014-2015 season. Don't wait until the last minute to schedule this service - we only have a limited number of surveys that we can schedule. Please let us know if you would like more information or if you would like to get on our 2014-2015 schedule. 		Green Aerials!  --   Summer is finally here and everything is nice and green. Summer is the best time to get aerials that will be displayed year-round. Time is flying by and summer is already about half over, however. If you need nice green summer aerials, please please put your order in as soon as you can so we can get them on the perfect day for you before fall arrives!

If you will be in need of an aerial infrared wildlife survey, there is no need to wait until the last minute - you can get on our schedule now for the 2014-2015 season. 		Green Aerials!  --   Spring is finally here and the trees have filled out nicely. The grass is also nice and green now. Have you been waiting for things to green up before scheduling your aerials? We have been very busy scheduling "beauty shots" lately. Unfortunately, mother nature has decided to send us lots of rain which has been keeping us grounded. Orders are generally delivered on a first-come-first- served basis, so please put your order in as soon as you can for quickest turn-around.

Infrared wildlife surveys  --   NOW is the time for aerial infrared wildlife surveys! Winter is the best time of the year to get accurate deer counts and aerial infrared surveys are the fastest, most accurate, and most cost effective way to get counts in large areas. Now that the leaves are off of the trees and the air is cold, deer show up like bright lights on our infrared camera.

Click through the photos below for a ground-based IR imaging demonstration. How many deer do you see in the visible image? If you're really sharp, you might see one - right in the middle of the frame. Click "Next" to see the IR image and watch FOUR deer "magically" appear. The third image points out the deer. The final image points out three small birds that are all but invisible to the naked eye.

Unfortunately, we got a couple of weeks behind (OK, months behind...) with our 2013 gallery there at the end of the year (OK, OK! At several times over the last year...). However, NOW it is complete and we have started adding photos to the 2014 gallery! We will try very hard to keep up this year, but as always, our customers come first -- and we are grateful that they kept us VERY busy last year!

We're Just Like You  --   We work hard to get our clients great photos and we keep an eye out for great views that someone might find useful as stock photography in the future. Many times, people ask us if they can use our photo for free. After all, we already have it, so it's not like it will cost us anything to let them use it, right?

In a word, no.

If our photos have value to someone or will add something to an advertisement that will generate business and bring in revenue for a company, it is only fair that we should be paid for them. Would you work for free for a for-profit company? Would you invest time and money in inital and recurring training and in equipment and endless equipment upgrades only to give away your work for free? Well, we wouldn't either...

Although we do donate prints or services from time to time to charitable organizations, please do not ask us to work for free or steal from us for your own personal gain or for the gain of your company. Like you, we deserve to be paid for the work we do if it is of value to you or your company. We do not steal from other people and we would never ask anyone to do work for us for free.
